Ott Street Eats grew out of a love for sharing the good food we've created in our home kitchen with family and friends. We are so excited to bring that love of food to a mobile location and to share with others! Our creations are made from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and are a unique combination of comfort food and elevated cuisine.

About Us

Meet the owners!

A match made in heaven happened in 2011 when John, a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, and Leigh Anne, an accomplished caterer and enthusiastic foodie met, fell in love, and got married. While continuing to pursue their individual careers, they secretly yearned to have a food establishment of their very own.

In 2020 they were blessed to leave those careers behind and retire in the beautiful town of Harrisonburg, content at gardening, quilting, and renovating their 1930’s home. At the same time, they met their phenomenal neighbors and community and started entertaining and helping with casual functions on Ott Street. Ah ha, why not do the same thing utilizing a food truck?!

Their dream finally materialized! Ott Street Eats is their way of getting the thrill of feeding friends and family in a one-on-one atmosphere. They look forward to meeting many new friends at their food truck, Ott Street Eats, where good neighbors and good food meet.

Our Committment to sustainability

Ott Street Eats recognizes the growing problem of plastic pollution and has made a commitment to more sustainable eat ware. We use recyclable or compostable utensils and packaging when possible. Outside of our truck, we have aluminum and plastic recycling bins and trash cans to ensure a reduction in litter. We also use locally sourced ingredients when possible which is not only beneficial to the community, but also to the earth.
